The COMUNIDAD project is pleased to introduce Ing. Lina Berrio, an expert from our partner institution, UAM.

Lina Berrio leads the Entrepreneurship Research Group and is affiliated with the Administration Department at UAM. She is a Food Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a PhD in Sustainability. With a background in quality control within the coffee export industry, Lina brings valuable insights into agro-industrial production chains and competitiveness in manufacturing companies. Her current research focuses on circular economy approaches, exploring innovative ways to enhance sustainability within agricultural and industrial systems.

On March 21–22, 2024, the COMUNIDAD consortium gathered in Madrid, Spain, for the project's official kick-off meeting. This milestone event brought together representatives from our eight project partners to set the course for the project's success, defining key action points and strategies for impactful collaboration. During the event, we captured valuable insights from each consortium member, offering their perspectives and role in the COMUNIDAD project.
